Not a hotel. Your own space, well looked after.

HillGate is small by design: few guests, plenty of quiet and all the comforts of a home. We are not trying to replace the spas of Hévíz or the region’s restaurants – we want to give you a calm, beautiful base from which to enjoy them.

The house

Scandinavian lines, a Zala hillside.

Four storeys, eight apartments, tall gables and generous glazing. The house sits on the south-east-facing hillside of the village, with a glass-walled pavilion in the garden and the completed Scandinavian houses next door.

Wellness

Our own spa is intimate. The great one is five minutes away.

In the house you will find a small wellness area with a Finnish sauna and jacuzzi, and a pool within the resort grounds. The thermal lake and spas of Hévíz are a few minutes’ drive away – we are happy to help with tickets, treatments and transfers.

When does HillGate open?

The planned opening date is 1 June 2027. Online booking opens before then – everyone who registers for updates will be the first to receive the booking link.

Where exactly is it?

In Nemesbük, on Hegykapu utca, 3.4 km from Hévíz and 13 km from Keszthely in western Hungary. Budapest is about two hours away via the M7–M76 motorways; the nearest airport, Hévíz–Balaton Airport, is 15 km away.

Where will I be able to book?

Directly on this website, and on the major booking platforms (for example Booking.com and Szallas.hu). All bookings run through a single system, so availability is always up to date.

Is there parking?

Yes. Every apartment has its own dedicated parking space, free of charge.

Can I use the pool, sauna and jacuzzi?

Yes, the wellness area and the resort pool are available to guests. Opening hours and rules of use are set out in the house rules; pool use depends on the season and the weather.

Is there a restaurant or breakfast?

There is no restaurant on site. Instead, you can pre-order a breakfast basket with local produce, and we recommend and book the best restaurants in the area – or a private chef for a special occasion.

How does arrival work?

Before your arrival we contact you to agree your arrival time and any requests. Access is flexible; we send the exact steps after your booking is confirmed. Hungarian law requires the identity documents of all guests to be recorded at check-in.

Do you speak English and German?

Yes – we are happy to communicate with you in English before and during your stay.

HillGate apartments can be purchased and are operated in a rental programme. Investment information is available at prideandproperty.eu.
